Our Purpose To glorify God by inspiring people to live passionately for and like Christ.

Our vision is to be a church where

. . . our passion for Jesus Christ is expressed by an ethnically diverse community engaged in dynamic and joy-filled worship.

. . .our passion for Jesus Christ is expressed in an authentic community that is intentional at welcoming and encouraging one another by sharing our burdens, celebrating our joys , and growing in our faith.

... our passion for Jesus Christ is expressed by becoming more mature Disciples of Christ who purposefully evangelize the un-saved in our communities.

... our passion for Jesus Christ is expressed by each believer using his or her God-given time, talents, and treasure in faithful service to boldly live out the GoodNews of Jesus Christ.

Our 2009-2010 Church Level Goals

Establish a task force to develop the standards for worship

Empower individuals to meet the standards for worship

Hire a teaching pastor

Identify and equip a person or number of individuals to lead the small group ministry

Implement every-other-month church fellowship events. At least two of them being major events for the entire church.

Develop and implement a plan to begin/continue training those involved in the ministries of the church in evangelism and discipleship.

Have each ministry create a clear goal for evangelism

Present the Gospel to at least 1,000 people from our local communities and pray for their salvation.

Uplift our families by providing classes/events on parenting and marriage.

At least 80% of all members/regular attendees participate in a ministry.

Match the specific needs of each ministry with the specific gifts of members/regular attendees.

Have every ministry leader proactively and consistently mentor others invovlved in the ministry he/see oversees.

Foster an environment world wide missions.

Review our commitment to church planting.

Continue to develop leaders and volunteers to staff the compassion ministries.

Increase the reach and effectivness of compassion ministries.

Develop a realistic budget for our church.

Demonstrate the ability to support a full time teaching pastor.
