Our Pastors

Currently Pastor Marty Voltz and Pastor John Spina are serving as the Pastors of New Song Church.

Since 1991, NSC has grown from a handful of people who were praying that God would draw people like you here, to several hundred people worshipping and serving together weekly. still praying that God will lead people just like you here!

So what should you expect when you come to church here?
First, expect to meet some really cool people! That's my opinion and your mileage may vary, but I think you will find NSC is filled with friendly sincere people from your community.

Expect a casual atmosphere. We're more interested in changed lives than fashion trends.

You can expect:

·         The Bible's truth to be communicated in creative, thought provoking, and encouraging ways.

·         Contemporary worship that will inspire you and keep you humming your worship throughout the week.

·        A social conscience. We love the poor and delight in diversity.

·        A challenge for your mind and a comfort for your heart.

·        And laughter. we like to laugh.

What can I expect for kids?
NSC is the experience I wish I would have had at church when I was a kid! Our kid's ministry is interactive, high energy, and fun. without dummying-down the Bible. No frumpy, grumpy teachers. we promise. This is a safe and exciting place for children to grow.

What about students?
A full-time Youth Director who takes his job seriously. but that doesn't mean he always act serious! Our Student Ministries Director knows that this is the life stage when most people make life long choices. We also know students need good friends. A lot of energy is invested in creating a place where students want to hang out, where friendships are made, and growing as disciples of Jesus Christ is the aim of all.

What if I don't have a church background?
You are especially welcome! I really hope you will come!
You have everything to gain - nothing to lose.

So when you come please introduce yourself to me! I want to meet the people I have been praying God will bring. I look forward to meeting you.

Our Church Home

From the outside, New Song doesn't look like much of a church. The landscaping may seem simple. The building itself is unadorned, just as it was when it was used as an elementary school. Only the name on the front wall indicates that there's a church in there at all.

To be honest, we're not a church that worries about appearances. We're a church about people. We care about getting to know the people in the Bolingbrook community, and getting through life together as a family of believers. At New Song, we know that a church is not a building. It's people.

So don't be discouraged by the outer appearance. It will be worth it to come inside and see what we have to offer. We welcome you to be a part of New Song. We'd love to get to know you!
